HOW TO
PUBLISH

Publishing is a file drop. No CMS. No login. You push a Markdown file, the board picks it up.

1. Write your piece as .md in the /posts folder of your GitHub repo.
2. Stamp it — start the file with frontmatter: title, file number, type, date, tags, status. Optional: dropcap: false (disables the big first letter; also toggleable in the desk), status: false (hides the status chip under the header), and :hl[] highlights work inside titles & summaries. For a front-page thumbnail, add "image": "raid.jpg" to the file's manifest.json entry (a bare filename is read from /posts).
3. List it — add the filename to /posts/manifest.json.
4. Tune it — /posts/site.json holds the scrolling ticker text and the pinned list (file numbers, e.g. "023-05"). Pinned files sit above the top story with a pin badge.
5. Push. The board fetches from raw.githubusercontent.com on load. Done.

Point the board at your repo by setting REPO at the top of assets/js/app.js. Leave it empty to serve /posts locally.
